ABOUT

Japan now faces an extraordinary challenge as a super-super aging society, with nearly 30% of the population in advanced age. Patients are increasingly living with multiple chronic conditions, communities are becoming more fragmented, and disparities in healthcare access continue to widen. In this complex landscape, the role of the generalist has never been more essential.

This year’s theme—“Collaborating for Care. Connecting for Change.”—reflects our shared commitment to building stronger partnerships across disciplines, professions, and generations. True connection goes beyond referrals; it requires empathy, open dialogue, and mutual respect. It also means bridging the wisdom of our predecessors with the fresh perspectives of future leaders.

As healthcare continues to evolve, we reaffirm our dedication to person-centered, community-based, and integrated care. Whether in clinical practice, education, or research, this conference offers an opportunity to reflect, recharge, and inspire one another for the journey ahead.

We are called to humility—so that our patients may fully embrace life.

Thank you for being part of this movement. May this conference rekindle your passion and spark meaningful connections.
